Job Description

Our client is a leading Engineering and Civil contracting company in SaudiArabia. The company plans to recruit Senior Oracle Application Developers for its office in Dammam, SaudiArabia.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing web applications and desktop applications using Oracle developer 10g (Forms and Reports), JDeveloper 11g, Oracle Apex 4.1 (Application Express), BI Publisher and MS .NET.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Should be able to handle the project independently.

– Ability to prepare the documentation and user manuals for assigned projects

– Capable of developing customized reports using Crystal Reports and Developer/ Apex reports.

– Good troubleshooting skills including debugging, tracing and providing solutions.

– Should be able to recommend/suggest/implement the best practices/technologies and security policies.

– Should be able to guide and direct the team on critical issues.

– Should be familiar with the change and version control.

– Must be able to put the monitoring tools in place (alerts and proactive checks).

– Good command over 10g and 11i databases.

– Understands the principles and importance of Projects; Monitors and Tracks daily progress of work completed, comparing planned vs. actual.

– Good knowledge of using JavaScript, Ajax and ADF ( JDeveloper – Application Development Framework)

– Knowledge of Flash animation and Graphics Animation Software and Adobe Photoshop will be an advantage.

– Identifies and implements ‘on the job’ training programs with the aim of developing and improving team member’s competency in required skills and abilities.

– Should comply with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of project.

Required Experience/Skills:

– 5+ years of experience in Application development.

– Minimum 3+ years experience in Oracle Application development.

– Work experience in the Middle East is preferable.

– MS .Net experience is preferable.

– Work experience in E-Business suite.

– Candidates with OCP certification will be preferred.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engg. /Computer Science.
