Connection Problem with MS Word 2010 / 2007
Question:
BI Publisher supported in Office 2007? When I try to login to BI Publisher I get error message “The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security settings.” I set Macro security to “Enable all macros…” but nothing changes. Word Startup folder ( where BI Publisher .dot files are located) is on Trusted locations list also.
Answer:
Searched entire drive C: for all the files including the hidden one that have the (EXD) extension then renamed them all to *.exd.bak instead of deleting them. Now you will be able to proceed.

what is the best way to standardize report information for IBM product- OnDemand(storage and retrieval of historical user reports system). We have about 200 reports that need to have standardization (precision placement) X,Y coordinates consistantly accross all reports for particular key elements such as report code name, run date and time, run parameter values, etc. Also, can you direct me to a resource on the Oracle site for BI Publisher report development and deployment best pracitices.
